Lim Tze Her

Lim Tze Her embarked on his professional journey with Jones Lang Wootton in 2006 and he became an Executive Director of the firm in 2020.

Prior to re-joining Jones Lang Wootton in 2017, Lim had served the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for 5 years. During his tenure with the SC, he reviewed the submissions of various corporate proposals, amongst others, Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), establishment of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), takeovers and mergers, company restructurings, and qualifying acquisitions by the Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs). Lim was also part of a working group responsible for reviewing the SC's Guidelines on REITs and Asset Valuation Guidelines.

Lim’s focus revolves around providing meticulous valuations tailored to meet stringent regulatory requirements, particularly for submissions to the SC and Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, as well as, valuations aligned with accounting/Financial Reporting Standards (FRS). His portfolio boasts a diverse array of projects, ranging from valuations for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) to valuations for mandatory takeovers of public listed companies (PLCs), and valuations for the acquisition/disposal of properties by PLCs.

Lim has experience in dealing with cross-border transactions involving properties located in United States of America, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Lim also provides advisory services in relation to the disclosure requirements under the Asset Valuation Guidelines.
