LRT3 SHAH ALAM TRIAL RUN IN MARCH 2026

The LRT3 Shah Alam line is on track to begin operations as early as March 2026. The trains are undergoing fault free run (FFR) test which is expected to complete by 28th February 2026.
PTT SYNERGY UNIT SECURES RM34 MILLION JOB

PTT Synergy Group Bhd has secured a RM34.05 million construction contract from Sime Darby Property (BBR Business Park) Sdn Bhd. The contract is for the construction and completion of earthworks and ancillary works for Phase 1 Package 4 (i32, i33 and C21) of Bandar Bukit Raja Stage 4 in Klang, Selangor. The completion of the construction is targeted for 2nd August 2027.

Kanger International Bhd is disposing of 23 units of proposed serviced apartments at Block A, Antara @ Genting Highlands to Pioneer Resources Development Sdn Bhd for RM25.93 million.
NEW WORQ WELL BRAND OPENS AT KL ECO CITY WITH FULL OCCUPANCY

WORQ has launched WORQ Well, a new coworking sub-brand, at Aspire Tower in KL Eco City on 5th February 2026. The 34,300 sq. ft. facility can accommodate up to 500 members and offers amenities and facilities such as a full-size swimming pool and direct access to LRT and KTM stations.

Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Lotus’s Malaysia) has opened its latest outlet in Datum Jelatek Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The outlet offers from fresh produce, frozen foods, bakery items, household essentials, health and beauty products to home furnishings and small electrical appliances. The outlet includes Lo’Ti, Lotus’s exclusive in-house bakery brand.
BINASTRA SECURES RM503 MILLION DATA CENTRE JOB IN KL

Binastra Corp Bhd has secured a RM503 million contract for the proposed development of a data centre in Jalan Sri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur. The project is slated to commence on 19th February 2026 and is expected to be completed within 20 months.
IOI PROPERTIES SELLING INDUSTRIAL LAND IN BANTING TO DATA CENTRE DEVELOPER FOR RM741 MILLION

IOI Properties Group Bhd has signed an agreement to sell 136 acres of land at IOI Industrial Park in Banting, Selangor, to Bridge Data Centres Malaysia VII Sdn Bhd (BDC) for RM740.68 million. IOI Industrial Park @ Banting was launched in December 2025. The first of two phases offers 103 units of detached, semi-detached and cluster factories as well as individual land plots.
SENAI–DESARU EXPRESSWAY UPGRADING 55% COMPLETE, DUE APRIL 2027

The upgrading project to widen the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) to four lanes has achieved 55% completion and is expected to be ready by April 2027. The 160 million upgrading works cover a 9.34-kilometre stretch from Sungai Johor Bridge (KM49.3) to Sungai Semenchu (KM58.7) and are expected to have a positive impact on the tourism sector in Desaru.
HAILY SECURES RM48 MILLION CONTRACT IN SKUDAI

Haily Group Bhd has secured a RM48.21 million contract to build double-storey houses in Taman Impian Emas, Skudai, Johor from Gunung Impian Development Sdn Bhd. The project will on 23rd February 2026 and is scheduled for completion on 22nd October 2027.
MAH SING TO REVIVE TWO STALLED RMKU PROJECTS IN PENANG

Mah Sing Group Bhd has been appointed as financier for the revival and completion of two Rumah Mutiaraku (RMKU) affordable housing projects in Balik Pulau, Penang. The two projects, Pangsapuri Sri Bayu and RMKU Pangsapuri Quinton comprise a total of 625 units and were launched in 2017 but left incomplete. The state has introduced a special financing package and continues to engage financially strong corporate partners to complete stalled projects.
