MATRIX CONCEPTS TEAMS UP WITH FIVE SENSES TO LAUNCH SMART LIVING SOLUTIONS AT LEVIA RESIDENCE

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd (Matrix Concepts) and WIT Ventures Sdn Bhd (Five Senses) announced their partnership to develop a Smart Concierge Services Kiosk integrated with the Horosys mobile app in a residential development for Levia Residence in Kuala Lumpur. Levia Residence first tower achieved a sales rate exceeding 85%, prompting the launch preview of the second tower to be moved to September 2024.  Collectively, Levia Residence carries a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM522mil.  Tower B has already achieved a total booking rate of 55%.

 


 

MAH SING LAUNCHES ITS M ASPIRA SALES GALLERY IN TAMAN DESA

Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) has officially launched its M Aspira Sales Gallery in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur. M Aspira is a residential project featuring two blocks of serviced residences with a gross development value (GDV) of RM850 million. The development offers units ranging from 706 sq. ft. to 1,006 sq. ft., with configurations of two, three, and four bedrooms. Prices start at RM452,000. To enhance accessibility to M Aspira, Mah Sing plans to propose new ingress and egress routes, including a connection from the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway to Jalan Desa and an exit from Jalan Desa to the East-West Link towards Petaling Jaya. The company is also launching MSS Business Park in Sepang and a data center at Mah Sing DC Hub @ Southville City.

 


 

IOI PROPERTIES RELAUNCHED PUTRAJAYA MARRIOTT HOTEL AFTER RM100 MILLION RENOVATION

IOI Properties Group Bhd has officially relaunched the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in IOI Resort Cityafter completing a RM100 million renovation. Sitting on 6.5 acres of land, the five-star Putrajaya Marriott Hotel is managed by IOI Properties and comprises 487 guest rooms, including 35 exclusive suites. The renovations took place from February 2023 till November 2024 and were carried out in phases. The massive undertaking focused on the refitting and renewal of its guest rooms, lobby, restaurants and private villa. The fittings include new lighting installations, tropical landscaping and the addition of a family splash pool. 

 


 

BINASTRA BAGS RM256.45 MILLION M&E JOB FOR EXSIM'S DATA CENTRE IN BUKIT JALIL

Construction company Binastra Corp Bhd has secured a contract worth RM256.45 million for mechanical and electrical (M&E) fit-out works of a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The job involves the design, construction, completion, testing, and commissioning of the M&E fit-out works for the data centre that is located along Jalan Jalil Perkasa in Bukit Jalil. The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase slated for completion within nine months, while the second phase is to be concluded in 24 months from the commencement date. The contract was secured through its wholly owned Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd which had accepted the letter of award from Exsim Jalil Link Sdn Bhd, a unit of Exsim Group. The new job comes after Exsim Jalil in early September awarded Phase 2 of the data centre development works in Bukit Jalil worth RM574.4 million to Binastra, to be completed within 16 months from 1 October 2024.

 


 

TIANMA PRECISION PARTNERS JCORP TO INVEST RM440 MILLION IN NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN JOHOR

Johor Corporation (JCorp) is investing in a bearing manufacturing facility together with Tianma Precision Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Tianma Bearing Group Co Ltd, in Tanjung Langsat Industrial Complex in Johor in a deal worth RM440 million. The deal will see the establishment of Tianma’s first-ever manufacturing facility outside of China. The agreement involves the acquisition of 31 acres of industrial land in Tanjung Langsat. This facility will primarily focus on meeting the growing demand for high-performance bearings used in wind turbines, a rapidly expanding sector with increasing demand in markets such as the US, Europe, and Latin America. The new facility is expected to contribute significantly to the local economy, generating high-skilled employment opportunities for the Johor community.
