NEW TRANSPORT HUB DUBBED ‘GATEWAY’ TO EAST COAST

Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG), a RM307.4 million project is set to be the Klang Valley’s main gateway to the East Coast, positioned next to the upcoming ECRL station. The terminal fully operations by the end of March 2025, features 36 bus bays, over 1,000 parking spots, retail outlets, and plans for integrated government services, aiming to be more than just a transport hub.

 


 

ORNAPAPER BUYS LAND IN MELAKA FOR RM7.2 MILLION

Ornapaper Bhd is proposing to acquire two pieces of vacant leasehold land with a building project under development from Fairway Review Sdn Bhd for RM7.2 million. Ornapaper’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ornapaper Industry (M) Sdn Bhd has entered into a sale and purchase agreement for land and building with Fairway. Measuring 20,259 sq. ft. collectively, the two leasehold lands, located in Mukim Bachang, Daerah Melaka Tengah, will expire on 17th October 2123. Ornapaper also stated that Fairway is currently constructing a four-storey worker hostel building and one guard house on the lands. The proposed acquisition is for the purpose of providing accommodation for its foreign workers.

 


 

EPICON TO PARTNER WITH NCT ALLIANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT IN BATANG KALI

Epicon Bhd is diversifying into property development by investing RM72.13 million to form a joint venture with NCT Alliance Bhd to undertake a terraced home project in Batang Kali. Its unit Epicon Land Sdn Bhd has signed a conditional joint development agreement with NCT Alliance's wholly owned unit NCT Noble Sdn Bhd to undertake a project to develop 876 single-storey terraced homes on 72.14 acres in Mukim Batang Kali, located about 20km from Genting Highlands. The gross development value of the project is estimated at RM347.68 million.

 


 

MAJESTIC GEN’S MAJESTIC YU LANDED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT IN SEREMBAN 80% SOLD

Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd’s Majestic Yu, a landed residential development in Seremban, has been 80% sold since its launched in June 2025. Spread across a 9.3-acre tract with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM71.1 million, Majestic Yu offers 106 single-storey terraced, double-storey terraced and semi-detached units.  The single-storey terraced homes have a land size of 20ft by 65ft lots, with built-ups from 1,089 to 1,143 sq. ft., the double-storey terraced homes come in two land sizes, 22ft by 75ft with built-ups from 2,341 to 2,419 sq. ft., and 24ft by 75ft with built-ups from 2,517 to 2,707 sq. ft. and the semi-detached homes have a land size of 40ft by 85ft lots, with a built-up of 2,966 sq. ft.   Prices start at RM250,000 for the single-storey terraced homes, while the larger units begin from RM751,000. The project has drawn strong interest from local families, young upgraders and households from the southern areas of Kuala Lumpur. 

 


 

OSK PROPERTY ACQUIRES 3.3-ACRE LAND IN SUBANG JAYA FROM TROPICANA FOR RM44 MILLION

OSK Holdings Bhd is acquiring a 3.3-acre land in Subang Jaya from Tropicana Corp Bhd for RM44.34 million to develop serviced apartments. OSK Property Holdings Bhd has entered into a deal with Tropicana’s wholly owned unit, Tropicana Metropark Sdn Bhd, to acquire the land parcel located within the established Tropicana Metropark masterplan. The proposed development, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM427 million, will feature serviced apartments targeted at young homebuyers.

 


 

SELANGOR DREDGING’S PROJECT IN TAMAN MELAWATI 80% SOLD

Selangor Dredging Bhd (SDB) has announced that DaMai, its latest residential project in Taman Melawati, Selangor, has achieved an 80% sales rate since the launch in July 2025. Building around the idea of a “landed mid-rise”, DaMai comprises a 17-storey block with 306 units ranging from 2,056 to 5,038 sq. ft. Each unit includes up to six parking bays located at the doorstep.

SDB’s other ongoing developments, 19Trees in Taman Melawati and Jia in Taman Bukit Serdang, are fully sold and currently in the final stages of construction. Both projects are expected to be completed and delivered by the end of 2025. The group also plans to launch Senai, a 209-unit lakeside link-villa development in Taman Putra Perdana, Puchong, by end-2025. It is a gated and guarded community designed to offer families a nature-inspired environment complemented by modern amenities. The three-storey link-villas are thoughtfully crafted to harmonise with the natural surroundings, offering residents an environment that is both serene and inspiring.

 


 

YNH PROPERTY SEALS NEW DEAL FOR BANGSAR SOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Kar Sin Sdn Bhd (KSSB)’s wholly owned unit of YNH Property Bhd has entered into a joint venture deal with Genland Sdn Bhd (GSB) to construct, develop and complete a residential development in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. GSB has agreed to collaborate with KSB and grant KSB the rights to undertake the project as the developer on the freehold land approximately 1.8 acres land which will comprises one 46-storey apartment block (Block A), with a total of 163 apartment units, inclusive of 114 apartment units of RUMAWIP or Residensi MADANI and another one 46-storey apartment block (Block B), consist of one 34-storey apartment tower (211 apartment units), 8-storey podium car park and facilities on level 9.

 


 

UOA DEVELOPMENT TO SELL BUSINESS PARK ASSETS TO UOA REIT IN RM200 MILLION DEAL

UOA Development Bhd is transferring three properties in UOA Business Park, near Subang Jaya, to UOA Real Estate Investment Trust in a related-party deal worth RM200 million. The properties include Tower 2A, valued at RM55.7 million, and Tower 2B, valued at RM54.8 million, both to be settled fully in cash. The third property is the UOA Business Park's car park, priced at RM89.5 million, which will be paid for via the issuance of 107.83 million new UOA REIT units. 

 


 

MAJESTIC LABS OPENS WITH 70% OCCUPANCY AT ECO MAJESTIC IN SEMENYIH

Eco World Development Group Bhd has soft-launched Majestic Labs on 27th September 2025, a new mixed-use commercial centre within its Eco Majestic township in Semenyih, Selangor, with a 70% occupancy rate. The development spans 3.6 acres and comprises 47 units situated adjacent to the 20-acre Eco Majestic City Park. It features a mix of retail, dining, education, fitness and wellness offerings. Confirmed tenants include Nando’s, Canton Boy, Chef Kecik (5,000 sq. ft.), Hock Kee Kopitiam, IKEA (pop-up), Xiaomi, Claviera, Focus Point, Caring Pharmacy, Melody Kindyland and Believe Fitness (7,000 sq. ft.). The centre also houses the Eco Majestic Sales Gallery, occupying 4,300 sq. ft. A grand opening of Majestic Labs is planned for early 2026, with community events scheduled to activate the space.

 


 

NCT GROUP LAUNCHES FIRST CERTIFIED INDUSTRIAL PARK AT DELAPAN SPECIAL BORDER ECONOMIC ZONE IN BUKIT KAYU HITAM

NCT Group has launched NCT InnoSphere, a 137-acre certified managed industrial park within the Delapan Special Border Economic Zone (SBEZ) in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, developed in partnership with Northern Gateway Group (NGX). With a GDV of RM1.1 billion, the eight-phase project will feature over 230 industrial, commercial and support units, benefiting from its strategic location near the Malaysia–Thailand border, Bukit Kayu Hitam Inland Port and Penang Port. Positioned to attract sectors such as logistics, food manufacturing, automotive, advanced manufacturing, and digital technologies, it is the first MIP in northern Malaysia to secure GreenRE certification and will offer Free Zone incentives to investors.

 


 

ECOWORLD SIGNS TWO MOUS TO BRING JAPAN SMES TO MALAYSIA

Eco World Development Group Bhd signed two memoranda of understanding (MOUs) aimed at facilitating the entry of Japanese small and medium enterprises (SMEs) into Malaysia via its latest industrial project, Eco Business Park VII (EBP VII) located in Negeri Sembilan. The MOUs were exchanged with The Musashino Bank Ltd and Bugin Regional Economic Research Institute Co Ltd (Bugin Institute), marked a strategic collaboration to channel targeted Japanese SMEs into EBP VII, which is scheduled for launch by end-2025. Located in Bukit Pelandok and spanning 1,195 acres, EBP VII will be developed through Eco Business Park 7 Sdn Bhd, a special-purpose vehicle owned by EcoWorld (55%), SD Guthrie Bhd (30%) and NS Corporation (15%). The collaboration will focus on high-potential sectors including food processing, medical technology, logistics, aerospace support industries, and electrical and electronics.

 


 

NSCMA RAISES RM50.6 MILLION FOR HOSPITAL EXPANSION

The Negri Sembilan Chinese Maternity Association (NSCMA) has secured RM50.57 million to fund the construction of a new medical block at CMH Specialist Hospital in Seremban. In July 2024, CMH Specialist Hospital launched a RM120 million redevelopment plan to reshape the hospital's future through strategic planning. The CMH Specialist Hospital expansion project will be carried out in several phases, with the first phase being the construction of a six-storey car park starting in March 2025. The second phase involves a ten-storey medical block project that will commence in 2026. The plan will increase the number of beds from 66 to 166 and specialist clinics from 16 to 45, involving an investment of RM120 million and expected to be completed by June 2029.

 


 

HAILY SECURES RM197.6 MILLION HIGH-RISE JOB IN JB

Haily Group Bhd secured RM197.55 million worth of contracts from Connoisseur Properties Sdn Bhd to build a 45-storey service apartment with 748 units, shop units, car parks, and public facilities along Jalan Bukit Meldrum in Johor Bahru, with completion targeted for January 2029.

 


 

MAH SING SEES STRONG DEMAND FOR M GRAND MINORI WITH SPA SIGNINGS

Mah Sing Group Bhd reported strong demand for its **M Grand Minori** project in Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru, with high Sales & Purchase Agreement signings following its August 2025 launch as the first premium development under the M Grand Series. Phase 1 features a retail podium and two serviced apartment towers priced from RM390,000, offering units from 403 to 835 sq. ft. and 41 lifestyle facilities alongside sustainability measures such as EV charging and GreenRE certification. Its proximity to the upcoming RTS Link to Singapore and the Johor-Singapore SEZ is expected to further boost demand and investment value.

 


 

KIP REIT'S TRUSTEE ACQUIRES RM28.7 MILLION INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY IN SARAWAK

KIP Real Estate Investment Trust’s trustee, Pacific Trustees Bhd, has completed its acquisition of an industrial property in Bintulu, Sarawak, for a total purchase consideration of RM28.7 million. The property is tenanted by Hextar Solutions Sdn Bhd under a three-year fixed-term agreement, with automatic renewals for four consecutive three-year terms, ensuring long-term rental stability. The fully occupied, 15-year-old property comprises a double-storey office integrated with a six-storey processing plant, with a total net lettable area of 207,315 sq. ft.
