KANOPI RESIDENCES TOPS OUT AT ELMINA CITY CENTRE

Sime Darby Property Bhd has completed the structural topping off for Kanopi Residences, keeping the 36-storey development on track for completion in the third quarter of 2027. Located 300 meters from Elmina Lakeside Mall, the RM299 million project features 499 residential units and has achieved a 90% take-up rate since its launch in late 2024.
WCT SECURES RM600.89 CONTRACT FOR 41-STOREY OFFICE BUILDING AT TRX

WCT Holdings Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, WCT Bhd, has accepted a RM600.89 million contract from Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd to construct a 41-storey office building at the Tun Razak Exchange in Kuala Lumpur. The project will be built across three phases spanning civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and landscaping works. Construction is officially scheduled to begin on December 1, 2026.
JAYA GROCER TO ANCHOR RETAIL ENCLAVE AT OSK PROPERTY’S MORI PARK PROJECT IN SHAH ALAM

Jaya Grocer is set to become the anchor tenant at OSK Mori Park, an integrated transit-oriented development in Section 13, Shah Alam, occupying a 13,813 sq ft space to provide fresh produce and groceries. This milestone follows strong sales performance in the masterplan's first two phases ALIA at 98% and BAYU at 75% alongside the recent launch of the third phase, TAMU. The project's retail boulevard features 56 flexible units with strong accessibility, supported by a transit link to the LRT3 Stadium Shah Alam station, highway connections, and an expected residential population of 15,000 upon full completion.

The strategy involves capitalizing on the group's 4.6-acre landholding in Jalan Ampang by refurbishing the ZON Hotel to expand its capacity to 400 rooms alongside retail spaces. Supported by a strong net cash position exceeding RM200 million and improved occupancy rates at Menara Atlan surpassing 70%, the group aims to unlock its asset value.
MAH SING ACQUIRES 14.38 ACRES IN AMPANG FOR RM1.92B M ARAYA DEVELOPMENT

Mah Sing Group Bhd is acquiring a 14.3775-acre site in Ampang for RM186.17 million to develop M Araya, a serviced apartment project with an estimated GDV of RM1.92 billion. Positioned as the company's third project in the area following M Suites and M City, the development will feature units ranging from 700 to 1,000 sq ft with prices starting from RM399,000, targeting young professionals, first-time homebuyers, and upgraders. The project is scheduled for registration of interest and a formal launch in 2027, backed by strong local infrastructure, major highway connectivity via SUKE, AKLEH, and EKVE, and proximity to retail, healthcare, and educational amenities.
WOLO MONT KIARA OPENS IN STYLE

Magma Group Bhd has officially commenced construction on its flagship 60-storey development, Wolo Hotel & Residences, in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. The launch event, held at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, brought together over 900 guests, including Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who praised the project for blending hospitality, real estate, and culture. Led by Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Thomas Liang Chee Fong and Group Executive Chairman Datuk Seri Lee Hock Seng, the project expands on the success of their Bukit Bintang boutique hotel. GEOHAN SECURES RM37M LOA, LIFTS YTD WINS TO RM250M

Geohan Corporation Bhd has secured a RM37.0 million contract from Chin Hin Property (Segambut) Sdn Bhd to handle earthworks, piling, and substructure construction for a high-rise residential project in Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur. The project features two serviced apartment towers of 58 and 55 storeys, comprising 1,546 units, with completion expected by August 2027.
IJM CORP UNITS SECURES SEMICONDUCTOR AND MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS WORTH RM909.5 MIL

IJM Corporation Bhd’s subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has secured two fast-track semiconductor and medical technology contracts worth a combined RM909.5 million for FY2027. The projects comprise a RM455 million automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) warehouse for a multinational semiconductor facility in Kulim, Kedah, and a RM454.5 million medical device manufacturing facility for Intuitive Surgical Malaysia in Batu Kawan, Penang, both scheduled for completion in under 18 months. This expansion into medical device manufacturing extends IJM's industrial portfolio, which currently underpins a robust outstanding order book of RM14.51 billion, with advanced industrial facilities representing approximately 55% of its domestic construction projects.
GAMUDA LANDS ANOTHER RM3.57 BIL IN HYPERSCALE DATA CENTRES JOBS IN PORT DICKSON

Gamuda Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, has secured two contracts totaling RM3.57 billion from a US-headquartered tech company to build hyperscale data centres in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The scope includes civil infrastructure, building cores, shells, and MEP fit-out works for both facilities. Construction is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completions scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2028, bringing Gamuda's total data centre wins in the area to three projects this year.
