Jones Lang Wootton was wholly foreign owned when it commenced operations in Malaysia in 1974. He was invited to be the first Malaysian proprietor of Jones Lang Wootton in 1976 and became senior partner in 1978. In early 1982 Jones Lang Wootton was wholly Malaysian owned.
